1st day:
Arrival, transfer and accommodation in a riad in Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities.
Visit of Fez el Bali (the old Fez) and Fez Jdiedid (New Fez). Then visit Madrasa, the oldest Islamic school and visit Mosques Boujeloud, and Kairaouine Cherabliyin, the largest in Morocco before the construction of the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca.
2nd day:
Crossing the Middle Atlas passing by Ifrane, stone village, 63 km Fès and at 1650 m altitude. Passing through Azrou and visit the Berber souk where you can find good prices for the purchase of carpets. Then, crossing the Cedar Forest, 1934 m altitude, leaving Azrou. Our route continues along the N 13 to Midelt lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight in the Kasbah Asmaa Midelt.
3rd day: Departure for the desert:
Crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains, towards the Sahara. Passage through the Gorge N’Zala by several kasbahs (in ruins and inhabited) and the Gorges du Ziz. Stop to admire magnificent panoramas.Visite a rich Berber market and a small palm with a natural spring and fruit stands, just before Ar-Rachidia. Arrived at our destination: Mezguida, a Berber village (former nomads settled), 7 km from Rissani, between the desert rocks, desert sand and palm: reception and accommodation in your home to share food guide delicious and local customs. Night in room or on the terrace under the stars.
4th day:
Visit of different markets (souks) of Rissani, the old Kasbah Oulad Abd Abbar and Lahlim. Lunch: a specialty Berber pizza Rissani. Camel ride and night in a bivouac in the dunes of Merzouga, Morocco’s highest: Dinner and local entertainment.
5th day:
Discovering oasis and meeting with nomadic picnic and visit the careers of fossils. Dinner and overnight at an inn in the desert of stones.
6th day:
Departure to Fez through the Middle Atlas. Lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight stay in a riad in Fez.
7th day:
Discovery and visit the Medina of Fez, in the evening for a different atmosphere. Dinner and overnight in the same riad.
8th day:
Transfer to the airport.
